Rob Woodman, Ph.D., MSCP

Who is Rob Woodman

I have been a licensed psychologist [PSY13069] and a mental health therapist since 1992. I have worked in the mental health field since 1982. I was the consulting neuropsychologist at the Sacramento County Jail, and worked at a California State prison. I also worked in an outpatient clinic for mentally disordered criminal offenders. I have worked with sex offenders and treated people for sentence mitigation.  I started the Workers Compensation program for a major medical group. Later I was on the core faculty of the Sutter Family Practice Residency Program. I earned a Post-Doctoral Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology (MSCP) and I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and am Level III Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). I love to travel. I speak French and I am learning American Sign Language and Spanish.

My Philosophy

My goal is to end suffering and to make everyone whole. I want people to think, beyond merely legal solutions, about what to do when workplace abuse happens. When people meet me they often say they feel as though they are meeting an old friend for the first time. Here you will find warmth, respect, understanding and caring, without judgment, and with complete confidentiality.
